!FFY - "PLUG OUT (FEEL THE SURFACE)" (PRODUCED BY PRECIZE)

While Im on the topic of !FFY, heres something I just came across produced by GFCNY's Precize. I love Precize beats. That boy has a style of his own. The vocals sound like they're unfinished but the joint is still tight. Check it out. Update: Apparently this track was featured on a GOMMI ARCADE x GFCnewyork mixtape back from '09 when !FFY was still going under the name Ferris Lo.

New visuals from !FFY off his upcoming "More Love More Madness" mixtape coming soon. I really should have posted this one up on Halloween. haha.

SWIZZ BEATZ FEAT. PUSHA T & PHARRELL - "BANG BANG" [CLEAN]

And yet another reason I need to clean out my inbox more often. This joint has been sitting in there for a couple of days. Not sure where its from. Maybe Swizzy is dropping another album. Maybe they were sitting around watching re-runs of "King of Queens" and decided "hey, lets make a song." No clue. What I do know is this is a strong line up and I dont think I need to say anymore for you to click the download. Enjoy!

BIG SEAN FEAT. CHIDDY BANG - "TOO FAKE" (VIDEO)

We were out in Toledo a couple weeks back catching Big Sean, Dom Kennedy and Chip Tha Ripper perform. While there, we talked with Sean about linking up to shoot a couple videos. When he came to Chicago a bit later, the homies Chiddy Bang were also around for a separate gig. We got the two acts together and threw them on a rooftop to shoot this visual for their Finally Famous 3 collaboration ‘Too Fake’.

This is one of my favorite tracks off "Finally Famous, VOL 3: BIG." Now all I need is the full length album from Sean and Im set. Im surprised we havent heard more of his material on the radio but I guess that level of success comes in due time. For now lets enjoy what we're given.

KANYE WEST FEAT. PUSHA T, BIG SEAN, CYHI DA PRYNCE & J. COLE - "LOOKING FOR TROUBLE"

G.O.O.D. Friday...G.O.O.D. Saturday, does the day of the week even matter anymore? New music from Kanye and the crew. I know I may catch hate for this, but does anyone else think the cover art Kanye has been using is a bit corny? Black & White pics of white chicks? Yeah, Im not sold. At least give me some Black & White pics of HOT white chicks.

FLI PELICAN: FALL/WINTER 2010 LOOKBOOK (VIDEO)

Here's a look into the new Fall/ Winter 2010 Fli Pelican collection which is taking on a military influence for the season. Also new for the Fall/ Winter 2010 collection comes a female branch of the brand. I've been a long supporter and fan of Fli Pelican and if they keep churning out dope pieces like this I'm sure a lot more people will hop on the Fli Pelican bus. Video shot by by RoyalRae and staring Fli Pelican model Nia Riley with music by Bei Maejor.

CARLOS ST. JOHN - "THE WORLD BELONGS TO ME"

See, this is what happens when you get hundreds of e-mails a day. I'm going thru my inbox and cleaning out the clutter when I came across a bunch of new Carlos St. John music. This the most recent track features Carlos doing what he does best over Soulja Boy's "Speakers Going Hammer" produced by Boi 1da. As a bonus, and to make up for lost time, you can check out 3 additional tracks Carlos sent over that I never got around to posting.

Bonus:
"Blow Them Away" (Rick Ross' "Free Mason")
"Ticker Tape Parade" (Kanye West's "Runaway")
"Perfect" (Wiz Khalifa's "Black & Yellow")

TENNILLE FEAT. MIKEY ROCKS - "YELLOW HAZE" (VIDEO)

Im digging the laid back vibe of this track. My only concern is that things are becoming a littttle too focused around weed these days. I don't condemn the use of marijuana but kids are so impressionable now days and I would hate to see users of the drug getting younger and younger. Sorry, I didn't mean to put out my own PSA but I have to speak my mind. Otherwise, enjoy the video and say no to drugs (*for those 21 and under).

DRAKE - "FALL FOR YOUR TYPE (SAME MISTAKES)" [FULL/ NO DJ]

Im back like I never left! haha. Sorry for the slack in posts. My job has been killllllling me with the OT and when I get home the only think I wanna do is sleep. Well its the weekend and boy oh boy do we have some catching up to do. Lets kick things off with something current from my dude Drizzy Drake. 976 versions of this track have already dropped and now we have the full reference track from the man himself (official track features Jamie Foxx). I think this is a record he should have kept as his own, but hey Jaime has that cash to make it hard to say no. Ill post up the final track with Mr. Foxx as a bonus.

TYGA - "BLACK AND YELLOW" FREESTYLE (VIDEO X .MP3)

Now that the Young Money CEO is free from jail I hope he puts some major work into Tyga. This dude has been on his grind and I think his time is now. Peep the visuals above and check the download below I mixed in with the original track.

INFLUENCERS: HOW TRENDS & CREATIVITY BECOME CONTAGIOUS (VIDEO)

INFLUENCERS is a short documentary that explores what it means to be an influencer and how trends and creativity become contagious today in music, fashion and entertainment.

The film attempts to understand the essence of influence, what makes a person influential without taking a statistical or metric approach.

Written and Directed by Paul Rojanathara and Davis Johnson, the film is a Polaroid snapshot of New York influential creatives (advertising, design, fashion and entertainment) who are shaping today’s pop culture.

“Influencers” belongs to the new generation of short films, webdocs, which combine the documentary style and the online experience.

Spotted this little piece over at the Hypebeast. I must say, its pretty dope. The fashion, music and overall culture of today has a lot (if not everything) to do with the influence of others. Do yourself a favor, click play and enjoy.

MC HAMMER - "BETTER RUN RUN (JAY-Z DISS)" (VIDEO)

So when I first spotted this nonsense a couple of days ago I insisted that I wouldnt post it. But then I watched the video a few more times and decided, yes...yes I will post it. Not because everyone else on the internet is talking about it but because of how pathetic it is. THIS is what happens when you let your emotions get in the way of making good decisions. For those of you that don't know, the whole tom foolery started with a Jay-Z verse in Kanye's "So Appalled" that went like this:

"…and Hammer went broke so you know I’m more focused. I lost 30 mill so I spent another 30, cause unlike Hammer 30 million can’t hurt me".

Why in the hell (no pun intended) did Hammer go and put out something so childish as a full length song and video responding to a verse that contains public knowledge is beyond my comprehension. Whats also beyond my comprehension is where he got the budget for the track? Sad...this is just sad.
