DRAKE X COLDPLAY - "LOSE YOUR LOVE" (PRODUCED BY CHI DULY)

So my homie Dekk just sent me a new mixtape/ mash-up project featuring Drake and Coldplay. Now, I'll be honest I was a little sketch when I saw the artists involved in the mash-up. I mean c'mon, Drake and Coldplay? The Drake part is cool but I'm not exactly the biggest Coldplay fan. Besides that...Drake and Coldplay?? But Dekk is a reliable source for good tunes and if he thought it was worth listening to I figured I can at least give it a quick scan. While I wasn't blown away by the tracks, one joint did stand out, "Lose Your Love." In fact, the Drake x Coldplay "Find Your Love" rendition was pretty dope. How Dope? Dope enough Imma give it a stand alone post. I'll also attach the entire project below, entitled "October's Very Cold," if you want to check it out.

Yooo! This joint is crazy! Not exactly sure why its labeled a "Wondamix?" Mainly because I have no clue who (or what) a "Wonda" is. Anyway, aside from that mystery, this sh*t is still a remix and it goes hard. Janelle even spits a few bars on the track. I'm not feelin the "Robo" effect put on Lupe's voice but I can tolerate it. Check it out, and if you come across that "Wonda" in your journeys today forward me the info and I'll update the post.

Can you ever lose with Darkchild on the beat? I mean, this dude is talented as he is Dark! haha. As with most of the tracks we've heard so far, this joint is up beat and can easily be found bumping in any club. Diddy might have a winning album on his hands. Lets hope he doest fire his lady counterparts immediately after the release. Last Train To Paris drops June 28th.

Lazaretto Crew emcee King Mez and producer Commissioner Gordon have joined forces with DJBooth.net RedCarpetSoc, Missls, Fisdjfoto and Kevin Nottingham to bring fans their highly-anticipated collaborative street album, The Paraplegics.

The mixtape features 11 brand new cuts from the North Carolina natives, including reader-acclaimed leaks “Blow” and “So Long.”

In addition to an appearance by the full Lazaretto Crew, Paraplegics features guest contributions from Thee Tom Hardy, Carlitta Durand, Troy, Tab One and Charlie Smarts.

Damn, where the hell was I when this joint dropped? This track is the lead single off How I Got Over which drops June 22nd. THEOPHILUS LONDON - "I WANT YOU" (VIDEO) DIRECTED BY VA$HTIE

For the first official video off Theophilus London's mixtape titled "I Want You", comes the sultry and seductive track of the same name. The visuals of this piece would match the sexual sound of the song. shot less like a typical music video and more like a 60's experimental french new wave film, our story takes place on a hot and steamy summer night in the Chelsea Hotel.

If the track being dope wasn't enough, this video is on point! Va$htie did her thing behind the camera. I give this a A+++! I would love to see what she could do on a video for The Cool Kids' "Strawberry Girl."

First single from Mickey Factz off his upcoming debut album The Achievement. I really wish this dude was more consistent with the new music. I really like Mickey but dropping new sh*t every 6 months is no way to stay relevant. Oh well, hopefully this new album will lead to a lot of new leaks in the next few weeks.

I'm in a really good mood today. The weather is nice, the sun is shining, my wife is still gorgeous and the site is better than ever. Which only means any new music in my inbox from someone I've never hear of has a good chance of getting me to listen. Enter iSH. Never heard of dude until...well, this morning. He e-mailed me a few days ago with his new mixtape but I never got around to checking it out. Needless to say, I wish I had featured it a few days ago. According to his MySpace page, iSH is from Canada and is an actor turned emcee (sound familiar?) I only listened to 4 or 5 tracks on his Bandcamp page and this project is rock solid! I encourage everyone to download this mixtape, its well worth it!

Im not sure where these dudes got their ears, but to hear the mash-ups they put together with so many different artists is dope as sh*t. And the amazing part is that it works! What up folks. Just got back from the O's Vs. Red Sox game. While I was there, my son made a good point when he said it felt like we were O's fans @ a Red Sox game. *SMH. Aside from having the worst team in the MLB at the moment, its even more sad that there were more Boston fans at Camden Yards then Baltimore! *Sigh. But you didn't come here to listen to me whine about my home team sports franchise! That's why this next post is pretty exciting. Feast your ears on some new Hoodie Allen.

Hoodie Allen kinda popped up and then went away for a while but now they are back with some new tunes and a new upcoming project. This track samples the UK's Marina & The Diamonds "I Am Not A Robot," and is the first single off their upcoming mini-mixtape The Diamond Cuts (which will exclusively sample from Marina's The Family Jewels album). Pretty good comeback if you ask me. In fact, this is the type of stuff that makes me feel like Hoodie Allen never left. The Diamond Cuts coming soon!

You remember my dude Myk Dawg, right? During our featured interview with the up and coming designer we talked about his new brand Fartookind which, I'm happy to say, is finally here! The first tee from the new brand comes with a collaboration from the one and only eBoy (talk about major). This is a limited edition run so don't sleep folks. The new "Yacht Race" tee is available now via the Fartookind online store.

Contrary to what you might think, I really hate posting sh*t that 8 million other sites have already aired out. But at the end of the day, its what the people want. Not to sound cockey but even though a ton of sites post this stuff, there are several dedicated fans that come to SUPERXOFFICIAL and SUPERXOFFICIAL only for that good good. As for this track? I think this track has to grow on me.

When I originally posted this joint I mentioned I thought it sounded incomplete. Well, I was right (go figure). Here's the mastered version of the new Yeezy single featuring Dwele. The vocals sound a lot better but it still doesn't strike me as the CDQ version. Lets wait and see.
