RICH HIL - "THE LONELY LIMO" MIXTAPE
This mixtape dropped a long time ago; back in January actually. Why am I posting it now? Well because I wasn't up on Rich Hil back then. I downloaded the mixtape, and much like everyone else who downloads music and doesn't listen to it right away I'm guilty of the same. All in all, this mixtape is amazing. Its on some other level blues, hip hip, pop, soul, every genre type s*hit. Your iPod is lost without it. Put it this way, its been on repeat since I unzipped the file.

ANON OPTICS SUMMER 2009 COLLECTION
Sunglasses brand anon Optics has released a colorful Summer 09 Collection that is available now.
What makes this collection especially unique is the variety of colorways in each of the styles. anon has released a couple of styles such as the Hombre and Contender in a “Blacked Out / Murdered Out” color where details are black on black.
Another unique color and treatment spin is the matte finishes on various styles including Hollyweird in Purple, Burnout in Red, Mary-Go-Round in Baby Blue, and Dallas in Chocolate/ Tan. As for a style offering, anon has pushed the envelope with two round pieces in the Wizard and Mary-Go-Round.

Explanation of artwork:
I'm a person who loves to take chances, loves tight-roping the line between genius and insanity; the artwork for my debut album is no different. I felt, in hip hop, we were playing things a little too safe with our album artwork, scared of the backlash we would get and ultimately not being true to ourselves. I'm here to change that. The "A City With No Seasons" artwork is inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat because his art was debated about the most on whether or not it is real art because it looks 'elementary.'
I honestly believe that there is no such thing as wrong, or bad art; that is difference between art and math. If I say 2+2=5 I'm wrong, but because my lines aren't straight and my coloring isn't inside the lines my art isn't art? Art is all about expressing yourself, and no one can ever say that you are expressing yourself incorrectly.
It's ok to say you don't understand; what's not ok is to say that it's wrong.

SHAWN CHRYSTOPHER X IM-KING "LOSE YOUR MIND" LIMITED EDITION T-SHIRT
Shawn Chrystopher and IM-King Clothing have teamed up to design three limited edition t-shirts to commemorate the release of his debut album "A City With No Seasons". The first release is the "Lose Your Mind" T-shirt, based on the 2nd single off the aforementioned album.
The shirt will make its official debut during the internationally-known MAGIC Fashion & Apparel Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nevada this fall, and will be sold in select stores nationwide.
OFFICIAL FALL/ WINTER 2009 FITTED PREVIEWS
Continuing to drop previews of the Fall/Winter 09 seasonal collection OFFICIAL gives us looks at a section of the fitted line up.
Fabric based headwear is timeless. The "NEU GRAY'S" fitted is inspired by one of the most storied baseball franchises in history the "Homestead Grays", combining heritage with contemporary progression, a brushed herringbone wool with a 3M embossed reflective patch and orange contrast stitching. Another fabric based style we can expect from OFFICIAL is the "BACKWOODS" plaid in cream, red, and blue with a die-cut woven POP label.
This Fall we can also expect new colorways of the "VICTOR CHOLO LA" in an aqua wool blend with green 3D embroidery and the "NEU SF" style in a wheat color scheme. Both styles convey a Victorian, calligraphy, and graf aesthetic.

To celebrate the 13th anniversary of San Francisco streetwear mainstay True, Nike is re issuing the lazer camo edition Humara designed by the True squad as part of the clerks park released back in 2006. This time around the Trumara comes packaged with a matching new era & tee all for the retail price of $96 in honor of the year True opened for business, 1996.
The Trumara 96 pack drops today, Saturday August 1st, exclusively at True in San Francisco & True East in Walnut Creek.
CARROT CLOTHING X STEVE "ESPO" POWERS - FALL 2009 "STREET ART IS GAY" SWEATER
Carrot Clothing teamed up with artist Steve "ESPO" Powers on a new sweater for their upcoming Fall 2009 collection. The new sweater, "Street Art Is Gay", features a happy rainbow of colors on the front of the piece and when asked to explain the meaning ESPO replied: "Street art is gay, and proud of it."
The sweater will be available soon at Carrot retailers and the Carrot eStore.
