LEBRON JAMES WANTS TO RETIRE THE #23 IN HONOR OF MICHAEL JORDAN

According to ESPN News, LeBron James wants the entire NBA to retire the #23 in honor of MJ and his impact on the league. LeBron says he'll initiate the movement and will switch to wearing the number 6 next year. Lakers Coach Phil Jackson is also on board with the idea comparing it to the retire of the number 99 by the NHL in honor of Wayne Gretzky and the number 42 by the MLB in honor of Jackie Robinson. I personally think this is a great idea and pays the ultimate homage to the greatest player ever to bounce a ball on the court. Other players who rock the #23 are:

Stephen Graham - Bobcats
C.J. Watson - Warriors
Marcus Camby - Clippers
Jodie Meeks - Bucks
Devin Brown - Hornets
Toney Douglas - Knicks
B.J. Mullens - Thunder
Lou Williams - 76ers
Jason Richardson - Suns
Martell Webster - Trail Blazers
Kevin Martin - Kings
Wes Matthews - Jazz

No word from NBA Commissioner David Stern on LeBron's petition. I cant wait to see how this goes down. As a matter of fact, re-tweet this post if you're on board with the idea.
