In my tireless effort to find hot new unsigned and unfamiliar artists who are doing their thing and making quality music, I stumbled upon Kydd.
Hailing from Austin Texas, Kydd is the real deal. Like most artists these days Kydd is both a producer and MC. But while most new comers make below average music and try to create catchy tunes that have you doing the next electric boogaloo at your cousins wedding, Kydd sticks to the script and makes good music. At the young age of 20, he exudes major confidence over all of his tracks and keeps the production level at an A+.
While Kydd knows how to maintain his fresh on tracks like the self produced "Flossin," my man also creates conscious joints like the banger "We Shall Overcome." The latest track from the TX artist, "Hi Hater Hello," is an ode to the haters we all need in life to keep us motivated and keep them envious...Hi Hater!
